“Cody has the gift of the gab and the stage presence to make this one-sided conversation flow entertainingly and deliver punchlines that land squarely”
Nick Cody
Nick Cody brings a comedic style that’s equal parts laid-back and blunt. He dives into topics ranging from personal disasters to the oddities of modern life with the kind of confidence that can only come from years of comedy experience. Boasting a sizable fanbase of Cody devotees, Nick has sold out shows whilst racking up rave reviews, not only at the biggest comedy festivals Australia has to offer including Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival, but also at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the invite-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, New York Comedy Festival and Johannesburg Comedy Festival.
In 2019, Nick expanded his professional resume to radio and joined the Triple M team in Brisbane as a host on The Big Breakfast show going to #1 Radio in Brisbane in 2020. Cody's success in radio continued as he moved to the Breakfast team on Fox FM in Melbourne to join Fifi and Fev in 2021. The newly titled Fifi, Fev & Nick show had seen remarkable success since the newest addition reaching #1 in September 2023. Fifi, Fev & Nick continues to prove to be a top tier local radio station with ratings consistently as the #1 listened to breakfast radio within an extremely competitive market.
No stranger to the podcast world, Nick has also teamed up with the comedic mastermind Luke Heggie to create the Mid Flight Brawl podcast, cataloguing the greatest and most absurd air travel incidents. The podcast is often seen traveling across Australia bringing live recordings discussing the most ludicrous plane stories this world has seen.
On top of his recently televised stand-up special “What Of It?” (ABC), Nick has already amassed a plethora of Australian & international TV credits, as a stand-up (CONAN/Melbourne Comedy Festival OXFAM Gala/Opening Night Allstars Gala/Comedy Up Late/Just For Laughs), a panelist (The Project/Have You Been Paying Attention/Talking ‘Bout Your Generation Hughesy We Have a Problem/AFL’s The Kick) and as an actor (Please Like Me/KINNE/The Wizards Of Aus). He also made his feature film debut in the Australian movie “The Merger” (2018).
Cody not only is a household name in Australia, but has made leaps and bounds to promote himself globally. His international popularity spiked after making his US television debut on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk. He also became one of only Aussies to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central.
Cody is also no stranger to the Middle East. He was invited by the Australian Defense Force to perform for the troops overseas and absolutely loved it. He has made numerous trips to Afghanistan, the UAE, and a performance onboard the HMAS Melbourne whilst it was at sea. In 2024, he took a week-long trip to Abu Dhabi for UFC 308 as an ambassador for Kayo Sports. Nick participated in all the week's events, workouts and interviews where he spoke with some of the most vicious fighters in the world including Max Holloway, Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev.
Whether you see him perform live, catch his big head on TV or tune in to one the many radio shows or podcasts he is a part of, a night with Cody is a night with a mate – get on board.
